About the Operation

Thighplasty is a procedure in which skin hanging from knee to groin — resulting from extreme rapid weight loss (bariatric surgery) or very advanced age — is surgically excised and tautly lifted upward. The sagging, loose skin flaps that impair walking and cause fungal infections are surgically gathered and concealed along the inner thigh toward the groin, revealing the patient's youthfully firm legs.

Application Details

  • 1A vertical or T-shaped scar may remain on the inner thigh (from groin to knee), but all deformity of the leg is eliminated.
  • 2Liposuction-assisted (Lipo-Thighplasty) lifting yields a greater reduction in thigh circumference.

Who Is It Suitable For?

  • Women who have lost 30–50 kg following bariatric (obesity) surgery
  • Those who cannot overcome excess skin and sagging wrinkles despite regular exercise
