Plastic Surgery - Mini Tummy Tuck

Mini-Abdominoplasty

A surgical contouring procedure that corrects sagging limited to the area below the navel using a smaller and shorter incision.

Duration
1.5–2.5 Hours
Anesthesia
General or Regional Anesthesia with Sedation
Hospital
1 Night (sometimes Day Surgery)
Recovery
1 Week

About the Operation

Unlike a full abdominoplasty, this is a minor aesthetic intervention designed for those with only a small bulge, stretch marks, or mild skin laxity just below the navel. The position of the navel (umbilicus) is not changed; only the small sagging portion of the lower abdomen is excised and tightened through a short incision placed at the caesarean level.

Application Details

  • 1The incision line is approximately half as long as in a full abdominoplasty, and muscle repair is performed only in the lower segment.
  • 2Because the navel position is kept fixed, recovery and return to social life are significantly faster.
  • 3A minor lipo-abdominoplasty combination allows lower abdominal fat to be addressed in the same session.

Who Is It Suitable For?

  • Slender individuals at a stable weight with mild lower abdominal fullness that overhangs the waistband
  • Women seeking to resolve post-birth or post-pregnancy caesarean skin depression in the lower abdomen
  • Those with only mild localized laxity who do not require a full abdominoplasty and prefer minimal scarring
